Today is Black Friday - what are you doing? Hopefully hopping through the 200+ authors for this amazing Blog Hop. Each of the authors or bloggers are going to share some of our thoughts on Black Friday, share a story (or two) with you and then let you comment and hop over to another blog.
And while we do that, we are EACH doing a giveaway. Yep. There will be over 200 giveaways combined with all the Authors or Bloggers participating.
But that's not all....
We have THREE grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!
Now what are those prizes?
1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet (Anywhere)
2nd Grand Prize: A $75 Amazon or B&N Gift Card (Anywhere)
3rd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more! (US Only)
And what prize am I giving away? I was originally going to offer my latest Library Tale - but now I will offer one of any of the books on my Smashwords catalog.
Now, what does Black Friday mean to me? Usually hunkering down at home, away from the shoppers, sales and insanity. I'm not sure where it started, whether it was from my mother's distaste of crowds or from the time I used to work retail where I had to deal with those crazy customers the day after Turkey Day, but however it started, I have a HUGE distaste for leaving the house on this horrible shopping day.
Sales won't pull me in. Why? First of all, they usually have a limited number of sale items - the really good ones - and as I am not the type to stand out in the cold for hours waiting for them to open, not gonna happen. Second, have you seen reports of what happens during those sales? People running over other people, killing, maiming - all for want of a sale item. Seriously? Where is their humanity? OOOH I saved $300, so what if I knocked over another human being. Was it truly worth it?
Of course, the internet has helped - tons! I do 99.9% of my shopping online now. I don't have to deal with the crowds and can usually find cheaper deals. Which is sad in a way. The internet might allow us to meet more people fiiguratively, but it does seperate us from humankind, doesn't it?
And now - Let me tell you about my newest Library Tale! I know you've been waiting for it. *grins*
Library Tales: Take 3 Revenge is Forever
Genre: Paranormal Erotica
Camilia has lived with her guardian Blayton Clairmount for four years. Four years of being ignored except for when he punishes her in his library. Then one day she learns the truth about him, a truth that will change the course of her life forever.
When she is robbed of everything, including her death, how will she gain her revenge?
Excerpt: After that her days became monotonous. Elixer six times, steak three times, fucked into oblivion at least once. Over and over, day after day, until she had no idea how long she had been there or even who she was most of the time. And yet, even as her weakness and her desire for him increased, so did the desire to remember who she had been. Because of that one need, she was able to deny him the one thing he insisted on from his vessels and had never been denied before.
Her complete surrender.
