I'm continuing on with the highlander/time-travel novel I'm writing. This continues from my post last week.
Finishing her last piece of fish, she took the bag out of her room and tossed it in the trash so that hopefully the scent wouldn’t seep into the carpeting. It would be dreadful to have the room smell of the aftereffects of fried food. It was never as good as the real thing.
After washing her hands, face, and taking the time to brush her teeth, Jasmine decided that waiting any longer was silly and childish. Raising her chin, she walked straight out to the table, sat down and opened up the packet.
It took less than a page for her to realize her father was right. Beatrice MacLeary was at the very least daft but most likely insane. There was no way she was going to do something so incredibly stupid.
WIP Title - Mystic Torch
WIP Blurb - For Jasmine MacLeary, coming home was not as joyous as it could have been. For she only came to England at the request of her grandmother's solicitor and only after hearing that her beloved grandmother was dead. She thought she was there to get things in order. Nothing prepared her for the quest her deceased relative sent her on.
Now go on and check out the other WIP It Up posts. You know you wanna! :)
